Red Dead Redemption 2
Game title: Red Dead Redemption 2
Recently we have seen the premiere of the Read Dead Redemption 2 fourth trailer. This one is going to be the first game for consoles released by the Rockstar Games. However, the technical experts became suspicious about the video and claimed that it has an unusual resolution of 1920×2160, along with the vertical axis of 1080p, and horizontal of 4K. As a rule, 1440p is used for PS4 Pro, but the Rockstar and Sony specified that the video consists of the real gameplay frames and was recorded from PS4 Pro action. The chosen solution renders for 12,5% more pixels and therefore makes the image look better. The interface including menus and maps is also rendered in 4K. The game has 30 frames per second. The trailer shows an amazing quality of an image and there is no dropped out frames in it. Of course, this doesn’t mean that the entire game will have such a perfect look, but the first impression is more than positive.
The best thing about the animation in Red Dead Redemption 2 is that all frames and movements flow smoothly and therefore a player gets a feeling of wholeness and naturalness. For instance, the horse’s tail moves accordingly to the animal’s moves, instead of following the prescribed patterns. Gladly, the video demonstrates that Red Redemption is free from annoying artefacts like pop-ins and unexpected objects that appear in front of your eyes while you are moving through the open world.
The release of this western game is expected on October 26.
